District 4 (Rome/Rock City) Town Hall meeting planned on June 13, 2019

The Smith County Commissioners of District 4 (Rome/Rock City) invite the citizens to a Town Hall meeting on Thursday, June 13, 2019, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Union Heights Elementary to discuss the proposed 2019-2020 county budget, which includes a possible property tax increase.

All three District 4 Commissioners, Erika Ebel, Shannon Minchey, and Ron Shumake, will be available to explain the proposed resolutions, answer any questions, and hear your thoughts.

Smith County Mayor Jeff Mason and the County Trustee LeeAnn Williams will also be in attendance and available to answer questions.

Your County Commissioners are your voice in government decisions such as this. Plan to attend and let others know as well.

In addition to the District 4 Town Hall meeting, a Public Hearing will be held on Thursday, June 20, 2019, at 6:00 p.m. at the Smith County Jail and Courts Facility. This hearing will give county citizens a chance to voice their questions, concerns, and opinions about the proposed property tax increase.
