Criminal Trespassing Warrant Leads to Discovery of Crystal Methamphetamine

On May 26th, 2021, Sgt. Junior Fields stopped a black Volkswagen Jetta after receiving information that Mr. Ricky Bowman was in vehicle and had an active warrant for criminal trespassing taken out by the Carthage Police Department. Upon stopping the vehicle and placing Mr. Bowman under arrest, a search of the vehicle was conducted. A small baggie of crystal methamphetamine was located along with a marijuana cigarette.

He was transported to the smith county Jail for processing.

He is being charged with criminal trespassing, possession of schedule VI, conditional bond release, possession of methamphetamine.

He is considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
