Active FTA Warrant and Traffic Stop Leads to Drug Arrest

On August 29th, 2021 Deputy Nathan Williams conducted a traffic stop on Hospital Drive after recognizing the driver as Ms. Kelle Boles who had an active FTA warrant. After making contact with Ms. Boles and the backseat passenger, Mr. Ethan Davenport, She was asked to exit the vehicle. Mr. Davenport reached to the middle console to obtain his wallet, and there Deputy Williams observed a glass meth pipe in plain view. Mr. Davenport was on misdemeanor probation, so a search was then conducted.

The search revealed 0.5 grams of crystal methamphetamine. Both Ms. Boles and Mr. Davenport denied claim of the pipe and the drugs. They were both arrested and transported to The Smith County Sheriff’s office for processing.

Ms. Boles is being Charged with possession of methamphetamine, felony possession of drug paraphernalia, and failure to appear.

She is considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
