Active Failure to Appear Warrant Leads to Discovery of Drugs

On June 1st, 2021, Deputy Nathan Williams pulled over Ms. Kelle Boles after being notified of an active FTA warrant agains her out of Smith County. After searching the vehicle, Deputy Williams found two bags of crystal methamphetamine, one baggie of fake methamphetamine, marijuana, and a bottle of Adderall and Xanax pills.

Ms. Boles claimed ownership of the contents and was then arrested and transported to the Smith County Justice Center for processing.

She is being charged with failure to appear, possession of controlled substances, felony possession of drug paraphernalia, counterfeit controlled substances, and possession of methamphetamine.

She is considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
