The following is a message from Smith County Trustee Lee Ann Williams.
The deadline to pay 2018 delinquent property taxes has been extended to May 5, 2020. This simply means that persons that owe 2018 property tax at the Trustee’s office will have 35 extra days to pay their 2018 tax by mail, dropbox, or online.

Please note that the Turner Building is currently closed to public access. All business will need to be done by phone, online, or mail.
